And the Fog stared at the heavens and said 'No more shall there be unreasonable heat!'

Halfway through my final semester of college and so far everything is going well. My application was turned in (along with 100 dollars...) and now I'm just job hunting.

The past few weeks brought on some heat in the city, and it would have been bearable if it weren't for the lack of a cool breeze and extra deodorant. Unfortunately, skipping classes just to stay at home where it's significantly cooler was not an option so for now, I am at least 3 shades darker than I should be.

BUT! The fog has returned to its home in SF and I was so happy! I went to school with just a thin jacket and my apocalypse pony shirt to enjoy the cold. I guess the heat has reminded me to appreciate the fog C:

Monday!

Meaning tomorrow is Tuesday (and everyone knows that despite classes beginning tomorrow, Tuesday means it will be awesome.)

Not really liking the idea of mingling with freshmen but it should prove to be interesting.

I thought about starting vlog posts from time to time but I don't really know how to start off. X3 ah well.

I'm so depressed. Blah blah blah.

Honestly, if you people feel depressed and have to say so repeatedly on facebook then please, by all means, rid yourself of existence.

Not only does your constant whining annoy me, but it also brings other people down from their happy lives. Do you expect people to feel sorry for you 24/7?

Once or twice, sure. I understand that we are all human and things happen. But when it comes to having to say your life sucks with every post, well...enough is enough really. *huff*

One last bit? Really?

I danced through the final like it was nothing, and I thought I was done until the teacher said we still had to turn in a self-evaluation by 11 PM tonight. Ugh.

Last Day of Summer School

I haven't updated because it's been so busy. I've been to several interviews (which have been flops.) I have a final tomorrow, and another interview on Thursday, but NONE of these excite me more than getting my first guitar EVER.

I spent about a week researching various acoustic guitars suitable for a beginner like me. Eric was super helpful and we decided that if there was any sort of guitar available, it would have to be a Gibson. Amazon had a deal on the Epiphone DR-100, but you know...who can really trust Amazon? Also: I wasn't really sure if I needed a guitar.

Fortunately, mom thought up of the next best thing: Second hand guitars. We took to the streets and raided almost every pawn shop in San Francisco. Bah, nothing came up :( I suggested we swing by the Guitar Center just to see what they had. Surprise surprise...

The Epiphone DR-100 was on sale. Originally 183, it was on sale for 99. I got an additional 10% off too! Wooohoo!

Eric and I still have to name it. >_> Out of my geekery I've compiled a list of songs I will start to learn, as well as chords I need to memorize before the guitar classes start in 2 weeks.

ALSO: I got a tumblr account because it looked nifty. http://izzycoon.tumblr.com

Summer Classes are a...

I've been dreading summer classes for a while, because initially I had been under the impression that I would be paying $985.00 out of pocket (NOT including the cost of text books, which is an additional $200.00) Fortunately, I decided to do every calculation after visiting the financial aid office today and I was so relieved to find that I'd probably be paying $200.00 :D Yay!

I know I haven't been blogging in a while, but everything has been so hectic lately!

Let's do it this way:

Finals!

Finals were so horrible...I studied and studied, using up all my free time to make sure everything was correct. I had info relay sessions with my friends in class, and I re-wrote every note I had taken during the semester. It was horrible pain...but it was all worth it. The tests came...and then went...and what I had fretted over turned out to be extremely simple. But then again, maybe it only seemed simple because of my studying. :P I checked my grades, and I got: A-, A, B-, B+. Mmm.

Eric's Visit!

I definitely had so much fun when Eric came to SF to visit me :) This marks his second visit, and the best part is that he stayed longer!!! Our adventures were not as extravagant as the first ones. We ventured only to the main areas (Downtown, Chinatown, Buca di Beppo's) but to be honest, it didn't matter where we went. Time with him was spent well :) We downed a whole crab, and played Professor Layton!!!! <3 <3 <3 I miss him...

Summer Classes

As I said before, I had been afraid of paying so much for these 5 week classes. But it's been sorted out, and it's nice to be back to work. I'll still be looking for a secondary job, but for now I'll still be at Seven Hills. :) YAY.
